College Radio Day 2023

On Friday, October 6, William Paterson’s Brave New Radio hosted College Radio Day for 24 hours. From playing different varieties of music to hosting talk shows, sports discussions, and more, the station was full of energy and good vibes. Having 2-hour segments each, the hosts showed their dedication to the station and love for radio with consistency and passion. Not one show was the same as each host had their own unique “hot-takes”, trips down memory lane, and various discussion topics all featured within the 24 hours. Having different varieties of music being played throughout the day allowed for the station to stray from its mainly Alternative Hip-Hop genre and branch off into some other genres that were specific to each of the hosts’ interests which contributed to an inclusive and easygoing show.

College Radio Day at Brave New Radio was a successful and fun day for everyone who participated and stopped by the station. The station never fails to have continuous support from its directors and teams who are always working to put forward their best effort and work for others to enjoy, especially while doing something they love.
