Damien Escobar Performs In The Shea Center At William Paterson University
Wednesday night was one for the books. Damien Escobar came to William Paterson University and performed at Shea center. It was absolutely amazing to get to see him display his talents with the violin. He was very thoughtful and kind to his fans. He even got to meet up with the people from Morning Commute after the show. Vont and Justin had an amazing interview on Monday morning and it was nice to see them connect and meet before the show and get to see Damien perform. Most of his shows are not in New Jersey so it was dope to see him choose William Paterson in Wayne, NJ out of all the places and cities to perform. Not many artists come to Shea center.
Damien Escobar is an African American violinist which is rare. When you think of a violinist you do not picture an African American man, but it was awesome to witness that. He is from New York and his resume is pretty stacked. He has done some amazing things, from working with Stevie Wonder to performing for the president. He is very down to earth and in tune with his fan base. He even stopped the show to talk with his fans and have a good time.
A major highlight from the concert was when he played Rain on his violin. He performed many classic r&b songs and the audience enjoyed every moment of it. It was nice listening to live music because it is so soothing and beautiful to hear. Everyone in his camp was amazing, including his manager. We look forward to having Damien back here at Brave New Radio very soon.
