Lil Tecca Performs Live at the Wellmont Theater

This past weekend, I had the pleasure to attend the “We Love You Tecca'' Tour in Montclair New Jersey, where rapper Lil Tecca and his openers sure put on a show to remember. Immediately arriving at the venue, we were tossed into the excitement and eagerness to see Queens native, Lil Tecca and his crew perform on the big stage.

While it was a rainy and gloomy night, that sure didn’t stop fans crowding the GA section and filling up the balcony. The first to perform was yvngxchris who set the tone of the night strong with a dominant stage presence and energetic rapping. Following him, BKtherula came out with similar energy, and had the crowd rapping along to her hit song “Santanny”. The last opener, Baby Santana was electric and he knew how to engage the fans by stage diving and keeping the energy up for when Tecca arrived.

Then it was finally Tecca time. When it was his time to perform, Tecca ran out onto the stage and played some of his biggest hits right off the bat. Songs like Love me, Amigo, Choppa Shoot the Loudest and Ransom were some of the most energetic songs to be in the crowd for. He showed a lot of love to his fans, and the overall production and stage lights were mesmerizing.

I had such an amazing time that when the show was over, I found myself calling for an encore with the rest of the fans! While I was a fan from the beginning, the energy brought into his concert made me even more of one. I hope everyone has a chance to experience such a show!
